When Design Becomes an Everyday Gesture

Capfito at Torino Design City – Transizioni Tangibili 2026

From 8 to 31 October 2026, Turin hosts the first edition of Torino Design City – Transizioni Tangibili, an initiative dedicated to design as a driver of cultural, social, environmental and technological innovation.

MAcA – Museo A come Ambiente, located in the heart of Parco Dora, is one of the key venues of the event, inviting visitors to discover how ideas, materials and projects can be transformed into practical solutions.

In this context, Capfito brings its own contribution: a product developed in Piedmont that sees design not merely as an aesthetic form, but as the creation of a system capable of influencing everyday habits.

A System Designed to Last

At the heart of Capfito is a reusable capsule system designed to offer a practical alternative to the repeated consumption of single-use capsules.

Capfito is made from AL6082 aluminium, machined from solid stock using CNC technology. This manufacturing choice prioritises precision, strength and long-lasting durability.

The system uses a simple sheet of aluminium foil to seal each capsule, without glue or adhesives. After use, the capsule can be emptied, cleaned and prepared again.

The principle is simple: make the most of a durable, reusable component while reducing the need to continually purchase disposable capsules.

Sustainability Begins with Everyday Choices

For Capfito, sustainability is not just a technical feature of the product. It is also about the freedom to make more conscious choices.

With Capfito, you can use your favourite coffee, experiment with your own blends and prepare tea or other beverages compatible with the system, without being tied to a specific pre-packaged capsule blend.

This means greater freedom in choosing your ingredients, the opportunity to enjoy coffee from the roasters you love, and the ability to adapt the product to your own habits.
