The Presser is used to compress the ground coffee to an evenly flat surface. The water pressure will distribute equally over the surface of the coffee, so that optimal utilization of the blend is achieved.
Our advice is to play with the pressure a little bit until you find the right balance for you so that you don’t over-pressurize the coffee in the capsule, especially if you use an espresso blend, so fine.
Use CAPFITO with the coffee blends you find in roasteries, stores, and supermarkets.
To make sure your espresso is creamy, we have one piece of advice for you: avoid too finely ground blends.
A medium-fine ground mixture, the kind that is good for mocha, will be the secret to getting a good result.
If you will be buying coffee from your trusted coffee roaster, ask for a grain that is somewhere between fine, for espresso, and grainier, for mocha, to make the most of the most valuable flavors.
Over time it will be your taste that will guide you in your grain and blend choices.
